Surviving in the woods of the Terrors are the Wishless. Believed to be either the wayward wishes that escaped the clutches of the feeding Master Terrors, or wishes that were sacrificed to the Terrors for a favor. It is unclear how they come into being in the Nightmare Woods.
As the Wishless ages, it develops rot in it’s wings as the lack of passion of it’s original host is gone. When the wings are decayed to the point of no longer being able to provide them escape, they are captured by the Master Terrors and turned into servants or consumed.
Sometime the Wishless are able to escape the Terrors’ Woods completely, in which they find a new host to inhabit.
It is said in order to prepare to sacrifice your wish to the Terrors, a feather must be placed under your pillow during the new moon.
