The Witch’s Hallow

I don’t think I’ve really written about what we’ve dubbed the Witch’s Hallow.  But I was there today for quiet some time.  The pink petals are gone now and the moss hides me in it’s tent.  I sat there on one of the fallen bleached branches in front of the hallowed out tree and just looked at it.

I’m not sure how long I sat there, but it was during this time I noticed something glistening in the light. It was necklace inside the hallow.  I carefully reached inside and found the necklace attached to bundle.  Inside the parchment and leather I found several books. There was 1940’s copy of ‘Brother Grimm’s Fairy Tales’, a 1871 copy of ‘Our Father’s House’, a field book labeled ‘Danger’, and another book that didn’t have a title. It’s cover was locked with a clasp.  The necklace seemed like a particular symbol, perhaps maybe a zodiac or planetary sign? Maybe even a rune?

Anyway, I took them back to the house. I’ve never actually read Brother’s Grimm before. The little field book is filled with handwritten notes, and I feel like I need to unlock the Untitled book. It looks interesting.
